Pizza Ranch started out in 1981, in a small town in Iowa. From this humble beginning, it has grown to about 200 restaurant locations all over the Midwest. It actually took about 2 years to open their second location in 1983, but that’s also the year they launched their noon buffet.

They offer their buffet in some locations, with the buffet offering pizza, chicken, salads, and fixings, and even dessert too.
The available pizzas will depend on the location, but try the Sweet Chili Pizza if it’s available. It comes with chicken, green peppers, pineapple, and red onions, topped with sweet chili sauce. Or you can go with the Stampede, with diced ham, pepperoni, sausage, beef, mushrooms, green and black olives, red onions, green peppers.
They have lots of great pizzas available, but don’t be disheartened if you don’t see your favorite. With this Buffet My Way option, you’re actually able to request your pizza, and they’ll make it and bake it for you. Once it’s done, you get the first slice!
Other Goodies
Try the chicken here, with its great blend of seasonings and spices. They’re cooked perfectly, as they’re nice and crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Or you can also go with the Pasta and Breadsticks, especially the rotini pasta and sweet marinara sauce paired with the breadsticks topped with a blend of cheesy herbs.
For your sides, there’s the dependable Ranch wedges, or you can always fall back, on mashed potatoes and gravy. There are salads as well, along with veggies and cups of hot soup!
